What is Available via Telehealth Services?

Telehealth has absolutely transformed the healthcare industry. Why Telehealth?

What are the benefits of Telehealth? Telehealth is convenient for both patients and providers to exchange quick, easy healthcare. Most offices have created options which allow patients to schedule their appointments online. All you need is an internet connect and a device, which most of the population is already a slave too. Physical location is no longer a limitation, enabling scheduling conflicts or lack of transportation. Flexible schedules during business hours also allows an opportunity for people to save on the insurance of gas/travel expenses with no need to take time off.  An individual can be cozy at home, in their workplace or traveling when having their Telehealth appointment. Concerns could be identified much earlier which can decrease the likelihood of more serious complications or stresses! When care is this convenient, they are more likely to seek it out and receive it!

The Rise of Telehealth

Even post-pandemic, this shift in healthcare is now preferred and part of the ‘new normal’. With hospitals, doctors, and other specialists limiting their face to face encounters when they can as a way of slowing down the transmission rate of the coronavirus, more health insurance policies evolved into covering telehealth consultations, routine check-ups and follow ups. The rise of the virus greatly accelerated this new form of healthcare, but now we are seeing the long-term effects of adopting this type of virtual healthcare system.

Reaching out is always the right decision.
Taking this first step is difficult, but from there, we walk together.
